Throughout his life Imo Etuk has been drawn to professional challenges, tackling all opportunities with a strong sense of knowledge, passion and integrity. During his pursuit for professional challenges, Imo’s talents has led him through organizations such as Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Northrop Grumman. From working with numerous DoD clients, the exposure to the FSO challenges illuminated the need for efficient management tools beyond the spreadsheets and homegrown systems.
Imo’s drive for excellence has been the backbone of MathCraft Security Technologies as well as delivering the best possible security solutions for our government and corporate clients. With his stellar team behind him, Imo has led MathCraft Security Technologies in the development of state-of-the-art solutions that conform to NISPOM, SAP/SAR and SCI requirements. His vision for the company has remained steadfast as MathCraft Security Technologies continues to provide the highest-quality products with exceptional customer service.
Imo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research from Columbia University School of Engineering in New York; a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Engineering both from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
Greg Scovel is a distinguished executive with over 40 years of experience in counterintelligence, personnel security and cyber operations, both in the government and in industry. As a career counterintelligence officer, he has a deep understanding of all aspects of personnel security and the need for a comprehensive security program that protects sensitive and proprietary espionage and insider threats.
Before joining the MathCraft team, Mr. Scovel served as the Acting Director of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), during which time he led over 2,700 civilian and military personnel with a presence in 41 countries. As a member of the NCIS Executive Staff and the Senior Executive Service (SES), Scovel was instrumental in transforming the organization from a reactive to a proactive and progressive agency. After a career with the NCIS, Scovel spent six years as a Vice President at CACI, leading cyber defense contracts primarily at DoD, DoE and the State Department.
He is the recipient of DoD and Department of the Navy Meritorious and Distinguished Services awards, which are testimony to his significant record of success in the areas of counterintelligence, combating terrorism, law enforcement, cyber operations, risk assessments, and threat analysis. Simply put, there’s no one better with whom to trust your information and personnel security!
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego. He was also a Naval Reserve Intelligence Officer.
Sonya Connors has over 20 years’ experience as an instructional designer, starting off her career with Xerox Corporation. At MathCraft Security Technologies, Sonya has taken on the challenge of design and development of our technical and instructional documentations. Sonya recently took on the additional responsibilities of Sales and Account Management, enjoying the opportunity to interact with potential and existing clients.
Sonya holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and an M. Ed. in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University, graduating summa cum laude from both universities. She and her husband, son, daughter and furry four-legged family members lead happy, busy lives in the NOVA area.
Melissa is an experienced member of our team with a problem-solving attitude and excellent communication skills. Driven by a customer-first strategy, she takes pride in assisting you in achieving your goals while fostering positive and long-term relationships. Melissa believes everyone can benefit from our solutions and she is here to strategically, intentionally, and innovatively guide you through a customized approach in an efficient and organized fashion! In addition to her primary job functions, she also negotiates and oversees all of our contracts and serves as our Federal and Corporate partnerships lead.
She has been recognized for her servant leader approach and, when she is not at MathCraft, you can find her mentoring a volunteer team whose mission is to develop others by cultivating leadership potential amongst young women. Additionally, she coordinates a Social Ministry partnering with local restaurants by connecting them and their daily leftovers to recipient groups to combat food insecurity in the local area. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Lee University and she currently resides in Northern Virginia.
Kristin Crosby is our resident “jack of all trades.” She is an expert multi-tasker with a background in both Security and Information Technology (IT). At the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Kristin worked in the Office of Security as a Background Investigator, honing her interview and communication skills while learning self-defense tactics, firearms safety, defensive driving, and more. From there, she furthered her investigative chops on a contract for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
Kristin began her career in the IT realm as litigation consultant for a DC-based firm. In this role, she worked with large SQL databases and became an Excel enthusiast and Oxford-comma lover. Most recently, she used her know-how to help tech companies with their marketing efforts, serving as the Vice President of Content Strategy for a Northern Virginia marketing company.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), with a minor in Sociology. She lives in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley with her husband, four children, and an ever-changing array of pets and farm animals.
Behind the management team is a group of dedicated members of our technical team. Our development team is comprised of software developers with an average of ten year’s experience in software development technologies. All our engineers have a minimum of a Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent. Sixty percent of the development staff have advanced graduate degrees. We have a diverse talent pool to engage successfully any challenges in our daily development processes.
